Scope of Work: Provided client guidance 8 weeks out suggesting timelines and promotions in an effort to pre-sell inventory to increase advanced bookings.
Description of Project: Lodge jumps on the idea with a promotion with various discount offers to drive demand during non-peak periods, offered on the first business day after the Thanksgiving holiday.
PR campaign also executed, which results in Petergreenberg.com coverage including photo.
Project Status: Sold 159 room nights, 74 of which were first time guests.
Sales had an ADR of $450, above those of other discount retailers such as Jetsetter and Rue La La and contributed more to revenues due to a lack of commissions.
50% off bookings from May 3 – 10th resulted in incremental bookings of 46 room nights and additional $13K room revenue on the books year over year.
Promotion was organized and executed with the existing sales staff and did not result in additional costs.
